Internship and Volunteer Opportunities at Stairways

Internship opportunities exist in almost every program at Stairways.

Prospective interns should submit a resume, contact information, and the following information: 

  1. Name of university 
  2. Degree program 
  3. Internship requirements (start date/completion date/hour requirements)  
  4. Supervision requirements – including education expectations for supervisor  
  5. Areas of interest for intern (Where do you want to be placed?)

Placements are not guaranteed. 

 

Volunteer opportunities are also many and varied.

Stairways was founded by volunteers and maintains a rich legacy of community members willing to dedicate volunteer hours.

Some programs – like adult tutoring at the Stairways Education Center – count heavily on volunteer generosity. Other programs benefit by volunteers’ unique talents, or by group outreach projects.

Volunteers are required to follow the same procedures as interns, with complete documentation as described above.

Stairways is ever grateful to the many other volunteers who give hundreds of volunteer hours every year!
