Stairways Behavioral Health has once again been named one of the Best Places to Work in PA, ranking #18 among the 50 large company winners.
The Best Places to Work in PA awards program, created in 2000, is one of the first statewide programs of its kind in the country. The program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places to be employed in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.
This year’s award is the fifth for Stairways – we also won Best Places to Work in PA accolades in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009. Rankings were revealed at the Best Places to Work in PA awards ceremony on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in Lancaster, Pa.
Yolanda Avery (right), rehabilitation specialist at Stairways personal care home, and Tom Kirkwood (left), Chief Financial Officer, were each recognized by HR Director, Mike Lawson (center), as recipients of the 2009 Laura Wallerstein and Jerry Cline Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor an employee can receive as nominated by colleagues.
