Awards and Recognition for Stairways Behavioral Health and Stairways Employees

2013 Distinguished Service Award Winner Joyce Tresler

Personal Care Home nurse Joyce Tresler (right) was honored as the 2013 Laura Wallerstein and Jerry Cline Distinguished Service Award winner. Tresler became the 23rd recipient of the Distinguished Service Award since its inception in 1996. The award, named after Stairways founder Laura Wallerstein and the late Jerry Cline, a longtime human resources director, is bestowed upon the employee who best exemplifies the mission, vision and values of Stairways. A licensed nurse since 1962, Tresler has maintained an active license for over 50 years and has focused her continuing dedication over the years toward the treatment of substance abuse. Stairways is blessed to have had the benefit of Joyce’s experience and education for over 25 years. Tresler is shown above with her nominator, Heather Filson (left).

 

2012 Distinguished Service Award Winners Betsy Moffett and Theresa Jordan

Betsy Moffett (left), and Theresa Jordan (right), both Mobile Medication Monitoring Technicians, were recognized by HR Director, Mike Lawson (center), as recipients of the 2011 Laura Wallerstein and Jerry Cline Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor an employee can receive as nominated by colleagues.

 

 

2011 Distinguished Service Award Winners Tricia Cloyd and Lee Steadman

Congratulations to Trisha Cloyd (left), Manager of Family Support Services, and Lee Steadman (right), Director of Center City Arts, who were recognized at the 2011 Jerry Cline Employee Appreciateion event as recipients of the 2010 Laura Wallerstein and Jerry Cline Distinguished Service Award. Nominated by peers, this award is the highest honor an employee can receive as nominated by colleagues.

 

 

 

 

2010 Best Places to Work in PA to Stairways Behavioral Health

Stairways Behavioral Health has once again been named one of the Best Places to Work in PA, ranking #18 among the 50 large company winners.

The Best Places to Work in PA awards program, created in 2000, is one of the first statewide programs of its kind in the country. The program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places to be employed in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.

This year’s award is the fifth for Stairways – we also won Best Places to Work in PA accolades in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009. Rankings were revealed at the Best Places to Work in PA awards ceremony on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in Lancaster, Pa.
