PAINTING: Agony, Visions of Hope

In Moshe’s own words, he wrote in the last year of his life:

“As someone with a disability, I have been exposed to many life altering experiences,
all contributing to a unique way of acting, interacting and reacting with my environment.
On a personal level, I have been forced to draw from all aspects of life with the hope of gaining a better understanding into who I am as an individual who meets every challenge
with high regard to human potential and effect. It has not been easy. I have learned that
there is a severe price to pay for being endowed with the pursuit of something unique and different.

Certain differences and ways of seeing have a way of threatening the fabric of what is
widely accepted. There has been a need to overcome many personal obstacles while
on this path to achieve artistic freedoms. I have always seen life from the point of view
of an outsider, looking in, never really being able to become an active participant.

I have reached a crucial point, where my own personal transformation hinges on the involvement and commitment that I am prepared to undertake. As an observer of life,
I have been challenged to nurture the gentle spirited nature within.

Music, art and writing have become personal outlets and forms of expression and have resulted in a rewarding experience. They have been an ongoing source of inspiration
and a deeply moving journey towards meaning and purpose.”
