Stairways Chosen "Best Place To Work" in PA for third consecutive year!
Stairways Behavioral Health was named as one of the Best Places to Work in PA for 2007. This is the third consecutive year that Stairways was selected in the top 50 large-sized companies (250+ employees) in Pennsylvania. The statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment benefiting the economy, the workforce and businesses in the Commonwealth. The competition is open to both for-profit and non-profit organizations.
In announcing the news to employees and board members, Senior Administrator of Human Resources Jerome Cline related what an honor it is for Stairways to be chosen in multiple years. “We know that Stairways is a special place to work. It’s great that our staff is being recognized once again for the wonderful work that they do every day. Our corporate culture is framed by the people who work here, along with their dedication, commitment and professionalism. Without them, it would be impossible to achieve such an award.”
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in PA. The first part - which evaluated each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics - was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part - consisting of an employee survey to measure the employee experience - was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation.
