Erie and Crawford County

Service/Admission Criteria for Adults (Erie County)
• Most services require a person be diagnosed with a serious mental illness and be an Erie County resident who is at least 18 years of age.


Service/Admission Criteria for Adults (Crawford County)
• Most services require a person be diagnosed with a serious mental illness and be an Erie County resident who is at least 18 years of age.

Service/Admission Criteria for Children & Young Adults (Erie County)
Most services require all of the following:
• Referral from Erie County Wraparound Initiative Gatekeeping Committee
• Documentation of a mental health diagnosis and multiple service system involvement
• Parental/guardian involvement
• Psychiatrist/psychologist for medical necessity
• Erie County residency

Service/Admission Criteria for Children & Young Adults (Crawford County)
• Stairways offers outpatient services in Meadville and Titusville for children between 7 and 18 years of age. These services require a child be diagnosed with a serious mental illness. All referrals come through and must be authorized through the Crawford County Base Service Unit.
